Delete your account and data

You can delete everything yourself, any time, from inside the app.

In the app (instant)

Open Off By Heart and go to Settings.
Tap Delete my account and data. You can export your cards first if you want to keep them.
Confirm with Yes, delete everything.

If you can’t use the app

Email hello@offbyheart.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm it’s you, delete everything within 30 days (usually much sooner), and reply when it’s done.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in.
Every card you made, and your review history and progress.
Your course-deck memberships.

Shared course decks stay for other students. We keep nothing else. Short-lived database backups may hold a copy until they expire; we never restore a deleted account from them.
